During the last six weeks a refurbishment programme has taken place within the Property Services Department at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust to turn the old conference room into a better dual usage space. This adds to the locations that staff can work agilely from across the Trust.
Refurbishment started on the 7th May 2013 and was completed on 14th June 2013. The works included providing a better and safer access to the first floor area, a new kitchenette area and WC facility to serve and support the newly created bookable agile area that can accommodate 8 staff and a bookable meeting room facility for up to 14 attendees.
Staff had the opportunity to input into the colours of carpets and wall finishes and also the naming of the new facility based on available historical data. The name chosen and employed is “The Bake House”.
